Kay's Itinerary

Kay Blanks will launch The Shade Tree Gang Meet in Houston on March 31-April 3 at the George Brown Convention center in Houston Texas during the Texas Librarian Association (TLA).

This is the first of a six book series from The Adventures of the Shade Tree Gang that Kay will be publishing. The story is about five recreational vehicles
that meet early one morning at the garage and become forever friends. Homey is an older motor home that is comfortable and friendly, Snooty is a shiny new
bus that is more fancy, Buddy is a small travel trailer, that has no motor, but has to rely on his good friend, Scout a mighty diesel to pull him wherever they go,
and last is adorable pink and frilly Mini Van, she is all girly girl with polka dot curtains and painted flowers on her sides.

This first story is an introduction to the RV's. Later that week, after leaving the garage and saying their goodbyes, they unexpectedly meet again and the adventures begin.

You will want to be sure and collect all six of the memorable, fun books and see what they are up to next, as they travel across the vast USA.

Uptown Dallas is the place to be for what is hot and happening!

The last five years have been huge for the downtown area, as the formerly deserted streets are now busy with fabulous restaurants, sleek nightclubs and renovated loft housing. The famous skyline has been seen on television for decades, and continues to beckon suburbanites with its colorful lights and familiar architecture. The DART light rail network helps workers commute through the downtown grid..

Fashionable and upscale, Uptown is home to everything cool and hip. McKinney Avenue features various restaurants and bars ranging from impossibly trendy to sporty and casual. Visitors can people-watch from patio dining in the West Village while others enjoy sumptuous meals at fine dining establishments in Turtle Creek.

It is the perfect time to come and get an autograph copy of my book, Heart to Heart Forever for that perfect personal Christmas present, at the Uptown Borders Store tomorrow, Saturday from 3-5:00.

See you there!
