Kay was born and
raised in Tyler Texas. Her family believed in having social graces
and they taught her southern manners and hospitality. She
has been blessed with many creative gifts and a percolating
personality that never meets a stranger. With Kay, what you see is
what you get. She paints a picture with words that is easily
imagined and her characters become your friends. She writes as she
speaks.
Their grown children cannot believe their parents have gone to the dogs! Kay and husband, James reside with their three small dogs, Puddin Tain, Cookie Le'Creme and Gizmo Fudge in Rockwall Texas, a bustling small town splitting at the seams just a short 30 miles east of Dallas off Lake Ray Hubbard where James owns and operates a retail business. Kay enjoyed twenty years as a successful Realtor, still licensed but she's has too many irons in the fire to work that industry. Kay says, "You can only have one love affair at a time." She has penned her first book, Heart to Heart~ Forever, her 2nd, is in the wings and titled; Illiana, while her 3rd is Dangerously Compulsive which she hopes to have completed by mid summer . Kay enjoys writing in many genres including a children series, The Adventures of the Shade Tree Gang, a sweet and endearing book of RV characters. Kay is gifted with the ability to diversify and write of romance and murder then get in the mind set of children and delight her young readers in a sweet and enduring book of friends meeting and helping each other.
